Yours Truly, Personalized Paintings
Gunner's Train Set

Gunner's Train Set

This painting was personalized by Gunner's mom, who decorated his nursery in primary colors. She brought me a sample picture of a painting she would've liked in the nursery, but it was very pricey. These paintings now hang above Gunner's changing table, and he stares at it every time he gets a diaper change.
Painted on 3 separate canvases, prices vary depending on size

Shelby's Cherry Blossoms

Picture

Shelby's mother wanted a painting to match her bright pink and turquoise bedroom. This painting is a combination of acrylic paint and scrapbook paper chosen by Shelby's mom to match her bed set. The inspiration is a painting in a Pottery Barn magazine, where it sells for $250.

Sammy's US Map

Sammy has a collection of every license plate in the United States from 1940, the year he was born. His daughter surprised him with this painting as a gift. She asked me to take pictures of all of his license plates and paint the states the same colors. She gave me a lot of freedom as far as font and positioning of the numbers, and the two were very happy with the end result.

In the Beginning

Picture
I painted this small canvas for my cousin for fun, and ended up loving the background. The writing I've gotten a lot better at since this, but I still love this one and wanted to share it.

Nolan's Fire Truck

Picture
Nolan's dad is a fire fighter, and he wants to be just like him. His room is fire-fighter themed, so his mom asked me for this vintage-looking fire truck. This is done on three seperate canvases, and the angle is to show off some of the details.

PUSH Board

Picture
This is not exactly a painting, but my roommate came up with the idea for a P.U.S.H. Board and I really love how cute it is, but also how practical and life-applicable. It stands for Pray Until Something Happens. It has an envelope-shaped pocket for blank scraps of paper, and there are tacks (with hand-tied ribbons!) to hold the paper that have prayer requests inside of them. Each day, each of us roommates will grab one and pray for it, and replace it at the end of the day until something happens. These are also great for families, and are a great reminder to pray for the things close to our hearts. I would be so happy to make one of these for you, and the materials are not expensive at all. :)

Pineview House #20

Picture
This is the painting that hangs in the living room of my apartment. I live in the lovely, artsy town of Athens with four of my best friends. This was definitely inspired by the painting for Shelby, but the colors match the ones in our room. As you can see, it sits between two window panes; these I got on a trip to Minnesota to visit family. They are real-life vintage, from a torn-down barn, and they are one of my favorite pieces in our house. The painting is meant to look as if the windows are opened to reveal five birds twittering outside. My friends joke and say that we should insert a music box behind it, playing chirps.

Light Forever

Picture
Inspired by Isaiah 60:20:

"No longer shall your sun go down, or your moon withdraw, For the Lord will be your light forever, and the days of your mourning shall be at an end."
